Getting to know each other
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Orange Park Christian Church a great one! By planning your visit with us ahead of time, we take a lot of the guess-work out of your visit. When you plan your visit, here's what you can expect:
- We'll meet you at the front door
- Get you a cup of coffee or tea (if that's your thing)
- Find a seat for you in our sanctuary (we'll even sit with you if you want!)
- Introduce you to others in our church
- Help you get your kids checked into Kid's Church
Orange Park Christian Church meets every Sunday and Wednesday and offers identical services:
- Sundays at 10:15am
- Wednesday nights at 6:30pm

What can I expect?
How long is OUR service?
In total, a Orange Park Christian Church service is about 90 minutes in length. Services begin with the OPCC band leading the church in music. Song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can sing along and engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, you'll hear an encouraging and hope-filled message that is easy to follow and relevant to you.
We also participate in communion every Sunday. Jesus began this special time of reflection when he shared his last meal with his closest disciples. We too use this time as a moment of reflection and an opportunity to focus on Jesus' love for us. Communion is passed out in trays while you are seated and you are free to take communion whenever you feel ready.
What's the culture like at Orange Park Christian Church?
Sunday's at OPCC are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
What about my kids?
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and our ORANGEKIDS program makes this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our ORANGEKIDS program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the ORANGEKIDS experience. Our children's program is offered at every OPCC service for kids ages infant through Grade 5.
do you have anything for middle and high school students?
Yep! On Sunday mornings beginning at 9am, our ORANGESTUDENTS participate in a Bible study that is created to make sense to them while also challenging them to deepen their faith and think about their future. We believe that helping students make their faith "sticky" while they are in school, will help them have a lasting faith once they graduate.
On Wednesday nights beginning at 6:30pm, the atmosphere is much more relaxed. Students will participate in games and friendly competition, eat some good food, and share in a small devotion and prayer time. Wednesday nights are all about relationships and creating friendships that will last.
